Services for Brain Injury understands the challenges faced by veterans and their families in accessing the benefits and services critical to successful rehabilitation and community reintegration. We are here to help.

SBI has been helping brain injury survivors reach their highest level of independence through accessible services, family and caregiver support, and community awareness for nearly 20 years. We are the only non-profit agency in Northern California that specializes solely in brain injury rehabilitation.

Why are SBI services important to Veterans?

• Thousands of troops have been treated for traumatic brain injury, and it is commonly called the signature wound of the war.
• It is estimated that from 10 percent to 20 percent of soldiers and Marines from tactical units leaving Iraq and Afghanistan are affected by mild traumatic brain injury.
